Three Cornish pubs named among UK’s Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers

On 12 July 2023, Inn Cornwall — which operates the Norway Inn, Victoria Inn Roche and Victoria Inn Threemilestone — was named among England’s Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers.

The group placed number 32, improving on its position of 47 in 2022. The Victoria Inn’s live news page says it was the only hospitality business in that year’s SME top 50, with the recognition highlighting the group’s commitment to creating apprenticeship opportunities and helping people progress within hospitality.

At the time, the business said it had supported 17 apprentices across front-of-house and chef pathways, working alongside Truro & Penwith College and BiiAB. Team members were also invited to a House of Commons reception celebrating the employers included in the list.
